So I'm trying to be nice with this game but I have reached the point where I am confused and frustrated and and really hate this. I have found 20 lockpicks, I have had 2 in inventory, I have had one, I have both mother's dialogue and still for the life of me I cannot unlock the gate near the post office, I can get inside but that doesn't seem to trigger dialogue with the mom. Also the poker game is miserable, she gets like 18 lives while I have 5? I really do wanna like this game but this is ridiculous.
It may be a bug in which it only updates the gate after you re-enter the scene... As for the poker, the tooltip when you hover on the button shows what's missing, what does it say?
Great game, I think most people wanted a game with a female MC, but this one was an amazing game. Maybe you can make another game like Housewife (with a Female Mc)? But exploring and focusing more on the son (cuz that was what most of us, myself included, liked) How the mother starts seeing his son in a different way, how they feel more comfortable with each other and maybe more (A LOT) scenes. Because as in a lot of games with this style, the NTR topic is a double edged sword, I remember that there was a game about incest and stuff like that, but in a update, the author introduced "sharing", and a lot of people where complaining about this in the game (even when you were able to dodge this route) but in fact, people had a point, because the route was too forced and strange when you try it. Anyways, keep going I love all yours games!!!!

What went wrong? Note that the saving / loading is always done from sleeping and that also automatically dismisses all party members as well as resets some perks.

i don't know if it's resolution based, but i found a way to play it on 1440p. i couldn't load saves or save at all. clicking the new save button just overrides the current save file.
it was a situation where i had bad draw, used up some stuns early on and had the main character die. i'm sure its rare but we both somehow ended up with no cards.

Had the same problem. Start a new save and ask Alexandrea to come with you on the first day. There will be a quest you have to complete with her at the post office. Do that, go back home, then save. For some reason that got it working for me.
I had best friends, working boiler, workiung atenna and liberation militant. Those were all gone after I saved after fighting cody. Even editing money in the saves got reset.
Your original hack worked. Did Alexandras first quest to the post office and all my perks stayed on the save after I exited and started up the game again. Once I did Kim's quest to the post office and saved the next day it reset.
All I know is that I played the game through to almost the end, saved and exited. When I restarted the game and loaded my save all of my progress was gone and Kim was back at her starting place as well as all of Cody's gang in the house and by the mall.

It doen't trigger dialog and the poker can be pain in the ass sometimes but you can do it if i did it twice :)

NVM I turned my resolution all the way down and that worked. You should still fix that though.

Have you tried first extracting it out of the zip and then running it? Some other mac user had an issue with that.

The file you download is a .zip file, simply drag everything in it to your desktop / any folder, and only then run the game from the desktop / folder.

Not running on my mac, anyone get it opened? once i click on the Zip it says it cant open the game.
Can you try to first extract it outside and then run the game? Sometimes running the game from within the zip gets bugged.

Usually hovering on the option will show you what's missing...
Best friends => from mom's quest, partners in crime > from watching TV, drunk => booze ,etc...

There is an issue with the saves. You keep everything you've scavenged but your progress resets to day 1

Nvrmind, once I complete the mail fetch quest it resets.

it happens when you load a saved game. you lose perks and all progress but keep inventory.
Note that some perks reset every night (The same time you save your file)

Are you sure about that? I can't reproduce your issues. Note:
1) Some perks reset every night (Like "Drunk" / "Playful")
2) There's a scrollbar in the inventory, so when it goes over the border, you can scroll up/ down.
All I know is that I played the game through to almost the end, saved and exited. When I restarted the game and loaded my save all of my progress was gone and Kim was back at her starting place as well as all of Cody's gang in the house and by the mall.
I have found the issue, a bug fix is on it's way. You will be able to use your save files without any issue (No need to start over)
